Maladu

Ingredients:

1 cup –  green gram dal flour

3/4 cup – powdered sugar

1/4 cup – ghee

6 to 8 – almonds

3 to 4 – Cardamom

Method:

Dry roast the green gram flour. Mix the dal flour, powdered sugar and cardamom powder well. Fry the almonds in 1 tbsp of ghee. Remove them from ghee and add it to the earlier mix. In the same pan, heat the remaining ghee . Add ghee in small quantities to the ladu mixture to form ladus. Ensure to add the right quantity of ghee, ladus may tend to break if less quantity is added
