The 2021 Jeep Compass Facelift has been launched in India. Prices for the new Compass starts at ₹ 16.99 lakh . The dashboard design is completely new and now gets a bigger 10.1-inch touchscreen along with a new UConnect 5 system along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other features include ventilated seats up front, wireless charging, a fully digital instrument console, and a new 360-degree parking camera as well. Jeep has also used premium soft-touch materials along with new knobs and buttons for in-car controls.
The 2021 Jeep Compass comes with a host of visual updates including a new dark shade of green body colour option. The SUV also gets a bigger chrome finished seven-slat grille, sleek-looking new LED headlights with LED DRLs, redesigned bumper, tweaked faux skid plate, bigger air dam, new fog lamps, new 5-spoke alloy wheels, new LED taillights and more. There will be seven colours and three new additions to colours are Techno Metallic Green, Galaxy Blue and Bright White.
Regarding the safety features the vehicle gets seven airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, and a bunch of electronics including an electronic stability program, brake assist, terrain modes, hill assist, and hill descent control among others.
Under the hood, the 2021 Jeep Compass gets the same set of engines as before – the 1.4-liter Multiair petrol engine and 2.0-liter Multi-jet diesel unit. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox, an optional 9-speed torque converter, and a 7-speed DCT automatic, respectively. Jeep offers 4×4 tech on select variants.
