The iconic Moto Razr has been launched with a 6.2-inch display which folds completely in half. The Razr design gets a retro based design of the iconic Razr V3 and comes in a clamshell design. Open the clamshell and its a whole different world out there.

The Moto Razr has been initially made available for pre-order from Verizon starting December 26 and will arrive in stores and online portals by January 9. The Razr has been priced at $1500 which is around Rs 1,10,000 in the Indian market.

The registrations for the Moto Razr for the Indian market have already begun in the Indian market
The design is more of a clamshell with a flip which harks back to the iconic flip phone. The main screen is a beautiful 6.2-inch panel. On the outside, there is a “Quick View” 2.7-inch glass display which lets you look at notifications without opening the phone. The main display uses a flexible OLED screen technology and also brings in a new hinge mechanism – albeit similar to the one on the Galaxy Fold. Although the similarity ends there.

Motorola has worked with Lenovo to bring in a complicated system of multiple hinges and sliding plates to fold and unfold the phone.

The 6.2-inch Flex View display gets a 21:9 CinemaVision aspect ratio. The external display – the Quick View display also brings in a touchscreen which allows for taking selfies, play music, use Google Assistant, and more without having to flip your phone. The camera specs bring in a 16-megapixel shooter for the primary and also comes with the Night Vision mode as well. We can’t wait for the Razr to arrive in the Indian market.
