The Vogue Beauty Awards saw a shocking and interesting surprise when Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the August Edition of the fashion magazine with his daughter on its cover. The cover — a striking photograph of a confident Suhana Khan staring straight back at the camera, was shot by Greek photographer Errikos Andreou — described here as ‘Student, Theatre Lover, Future Star.’ Suhana turned 18 just months back and she is neither a celebrity nor a star. But her father is . That could be probably the answer for our question why she is selected for this prestigious cover.
It seems to be a give and take policy. The award nights usually considered as a boring affair was made colourful with Shah Rukh Khan’s presence and that’s what The Vogue expected of him. No father would shy away from attending his daughter’s debut cover picture unveiling ceremony and that too the most prestigious fashion magazine.
When the photoshoot took place at Famous Studios in Mahalaxmi, Khan was monitoring the situation through a video call while mother Gauri Khan was present with Suhana on the set. Infact this was a dream come true for Father Khan as he had said on many occasions that he wanted his daughter to be their on the cover of The Vogue.
