OPPO Reno Series for Sale from June 7
OPPO’s Reno series is available through offline and online stores from June 7. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, the smartphone features the world’s first periscope telephoto lens and the first-of-its-kind Shark-Fin rising camera.
Design-wise the cheaper Reno is virtually indistinguishable from its more expensive siblings. It does have a 6.4-inch AMOLED display instead of a 6.6-inch one, but it sticks with the resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 and Gorilla Glass 6 for protection.
The phone comes with a 6.40-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
Oppo Reno Z is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P90 processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM.
The Oppo Reno Z runs Android Pie and is powered by a 4,035mAh battery. The Oppo Reno Z supports VOOC fast charging.
The Oppo Reno Z on the rear packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a pixel size of 1.2-micron and a second 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has autofocus. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The Oppo Reno Z runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Oppo Reno Z is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
Connectivity options on the Oppo Reno Z include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India) with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
It was launched in Star Purple, Extreme Night Black, Coral Orange, and Bead White colours.
