Ultra-Violet by Paul Pairet located in Shanghai has been adjudged as the best restaurant by Opiniated About Dining (OAD). Ultra-Violet came at the top position in OAD’s Top 100+ Asian Restaurants List.
Robuchon Au Dome made huge progress by graduating from the fifth spot to the second. Suhring settled at the third place. Suhring is new to the list.
Other restaurants in the top ten include The Eight and Jade Dragon from Macau, The Chairman, Seventh Son Restaurant, Ta Vie, Lung King Heen and Neighborhood all from Hong Kong. Hong Kong accounts for half of the entries this year.
Every year, OAD releases lists of the top restaurants within various global regions. These restaurants are voted for by the website’s reviewers. Based on reviews by more than 6,000 voters, the list is the only global restaurant guide that takes into consideration a diner’s background and reviewing experience, as well as the quality of restaurants they visit.
