Sadat Rahman, a Bangladeshi teenager has been awarded the 2020 Kids Rights International Children’s Peace for fighting against cyberbullying and online abuse against children.
This is considered a prestigious award for his hard work and determination to stand against one of the most dangerous crimes committed online.
Rahman developed a mobile app to help teenagers report cyberbullying and cybercrime in the western district of Narail in Bangladesh.
Rahman believes that cybercrime against children is one of the worst and dangerous acts to be checked immediately or else more children will be victims of this. His work was highly appreciated by the committee.
