Hyundai Venue will be launched in Indian market on May 21, 2019. This sub- compact SUV will be positioned below the Creta and above the i20 Active Cross in Hyundai’s portfolio in India.
Hyundai Venue 2019 will get a plethora of safety features. This will include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors as standard across all trim levels. There will be more provisions for safety and it would be interesting to see how Hyundai decides to go about that, especially considering the Venue’s rivals such as Ford Eco Sport and Mahindra XUV300 are offered with an impressive set of safety features.
The Hyundai SUV will be offered with two engine options, namely, a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Reports also claim that the company will also bring in a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with dual clutch transmission, but we should know more about that later this month.
Hyundai Venue is the company’s entrant in a segment that fields intense competition from some very capable names. This means, the Hyundai Venue’s price will have to be competitive if it wants a piece of the pie that is the sub-compact SUV market in India.
