A self-taught professional, from the pre Google era, photography related books were his gurus. Those were the days of the film camera, and photography as a hobby was pretty much expensive.
To keep afloat photography, his only passion and hobby, he started capturing weddings and events. After a few assignments in and around his hometown, he was soon recognized as a professional photographer with a ‘signature style’, capturing the realistic expressions, emotions and happiness in an event, especially weddings. Soon, he was synonymous for ‘candid photography’ at its very best, and he became one of the frontrunners in popularizing this genre of photography in South India.
