It has been 5 years since Reshma started her cake journey Reshma John was staying in Qatar with her husband and kids when her friends having tasted her cakes urged to do them professionally and there has been no looking back since then. During her childhood she remembers her mother doing cakes and distributing them during Xmas season….and she and her sisters were asked to help with the beating and icing of the cake and they loved doing it. It was probably then her love for cooking and baking started. She is now settled in Pala, Kottayam District and keeps her fully occupied with her enormous orders for cakes. . During the X’mas season it is one mad rush for baking fruit cakes .All the fruits and nuts that go in to her Rich Jamaican Rum Fruit Cake are of the best quality and are hand washed and sun dried. The fruits are soaked in the high quality dark Rum for 6 months or more. The eggs and milk are local and farm fresh. The fruit cakes are either plain without icing or fondant covered with hand made edible X’mas themed decoration. Most of her cakes are couriered to different parts of India during this season. She gets a lot of orders from people who live far away fro
m their relatives, parents and loved ones who wish to gift them with cakes especially during Christmas season. She also does fondant covered customised thematic cakes too for different occasions .Reshma does more than 25 flavours of cakes which are home delivered too on request.
