An all –electric car by Mercedes-Benz India which was launched last year, the first among the luxury auto segment is sold out .The company launched the EQC just under ₹ 1 crore and in the initial stage it was launched in the main cities of  Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. The company had given the option of booking online for customers from other cities also. The vehicle was much appreciated by the customers and the first batch of EQC was sold out fast.

The new Mercedes-Benz EQC belongs to the similar category of the company’s mid-size SUV GLC .The EQC doesn’t look like any other Mercedes SUV. The EQC gets two electric motors, with each positioned at the front and rear axles, helping the SUV with an all-wheel-drive configuration. Powering the electric motors is an 80kW lithium-ion battery unit that can provide a driving range of 450 – 471 km per when fully charged. The electric motors generate a cumulative power of 402 bhp along with 765 Nm of peak torque, and it propels the SUV to do a 0-100 kmph sprint in merely 5.1 seconds.

According to the company a new batch is expected to arrive soon to meet the customers’ demand.
