Christmas is the time when we all run around for cakes and wine but for Meera Manoj of Meera’s kitchen baking is a passion and above all an art in itself. Meera had never thought of running a business and her leisure times she utilized to bake and bake more. Even though she was an expert in cooking and baking she learned the extra tips of baking from Manna cookery school . She does marketing for her cakes using social media as the platform. Her Royal Plum Cake is rich with twelve types of dry fruits including fig, apricot and kiwi which you cannot find anywhere else. To add to the spirit of Christmas she also makes wine with grapes ,dry grapes etc. Meera is not only busy during Christmas season ,but all round the year . Her designer theme cakes are an all time favourite for birthday parties, baptism, marriages etc. Meera’s skills are obviously shown on every cake she makes and takes us to a world of wonders and ideas. Meera’s activities are not restricted to just baking but spread to a lot of other areas. She anchors cookery shows in most of the TV channels . She is a familiar face in cookery shows like Manorama’s Nalla Ruchi, Big Breakfast in Surya, Food Bucket in Janam TV, Swaad in Kiran TV, Hot and Spicy in Asianet and also she is a co- anchor with Kalesh in De Ruchi. Meera is a famous classical dancer and a speaker on various topics and is interested in costume designing. If you ask her about special dish she won’t hesitate to say it’s continental non- veg. She conducts cookery classes and workshops for school students also. Meera’s family consists of husband Manoj and three children. Her husband helps her with cake decorations and her son is also a presenter in TV shows. While coming to the humanitarian side of her she is all willing to do her part to help the needy. She is also the brand ambassador of KIDS Kottapuram , an NGO . The versatility and enthusiasm of Meera is just amazing and she is all set to go miles with a grateful heart.
